As a Cultural Care local childcare consultant (LCC), I invite our host families and au pairs as well as those considering Cultural Care Au Pair to explore my site and learn about what is going on in our community. I provide year-round support to host families and au pairs, and also talk to families considering the program to help them determine if Cultural Care Au Pair is the right childcare solution for them.
A little bit about me, I started my career as a High School Guidance Counselor after graduating from Long Island University – CW Post with a Masters in School Counseling. From there I moved on to positions within an International Pre-College Enrichment program, providing high school students a chance to travel, study and live on a college campus during the summer. An opportunity to work at St. Johns University, Queens Campus planning conferences and events eventually led me to a position on the sales team at the Ellis Island Immigration Museum and the United Nations.
For the past few years I have been home with my husband and two children. I am excited to start this next chapter of my life working with Cultural Care Au Pair. I enjoy traveling, eating (but not cooking), being outside, spending time with friends and family.
